ABOUT US The idea for creating this website came about whilst we were training to be Domestic Energy Assessors. Throughout our training we found that trainee Domestic Energy Assessors had little resources to access when preparing for the DEA 20 multiple choices Exam and designing the Property Sketch Plans. As a result we created this website to offer an opportunity to practice and see real exam-type questions before sitting the actual DEA exam. You can also view quality property sketches for the portfolio and EPC work. Regardless of the awarding body and organisation you are doing your training with this website will assist you in passing your DEA exam first time round and your property sketch plans for the coursework. Click on the DEA Exam link above and have a go at our free sample on DEA exam-type questions. Click the Sketches link and you can view quality sketches for your portfolio or EPC work.
The Domestic Energy Assessor qualifications are awarded by three organisations;
1. The Awarding Body for the Built Environment (ABBE)
2. City and Guilds
3. The National Association of Estate Agents (NAEA)
About the DEA Qualification
The Level 3 Diploma in Domestic Energy
Assessment is a new qualification that became available in
December 2006. It is a vocationally related qualification,
which is competence-based and achieved
through a process of assessment and examination. The
competences required are defined in the
National Occupational Standards.
The
external exam is set by the awarding bodies and is the last
hurdle before the Domestic Energy Assessor Diploma is
awarded.
This
website will help you to evaluate your own level of
knowledge in each of the areas of competence covered by the
Diploma. The exam is compulsory and forms part of the
assessment process; this exam practice will help you to
identify areas where knowledge and understanding need to be
improved to pass the exam.
